No one showed so my mom joined me and we made 12 pints of delicious nectarine jam, and white peach jam. Hope to be joined by more people this week, as we will be making grape jelly. Pint sized or smaller jars encouraged. Thursday morning at 10, or when ever you can come. Feel free to bring your kids.

I follow your blog from West Texas, and I am always champing at the bit wishing we lived even within an hour drive of you so that you could teach me everything about growing things, harvesting things, and partaking of things. Oh my. I wish I could have been the one to show. Thank you for your blog posts. They are inspirational, even when read from drought-stricken, grackle-choked suburbia Lubbock.
