A Full Saturday

Saturday was a success!  Here are the batik pictures I made.  Of course, I now have blue hands because of it.  Doing two projects, butter & batik, and juggling four kids and lunch, proved exciting and left me exhausted.  Conclusion:  one project at a time, or hire babysitter for the day.

We made both pumpkin and caramel apple butter, which turned out well, but nothing touches Gingerbread Apple Butter.  It was a joy to work along side my two awesome sister-in-laws.  They are amazing women!  Having younger brothers paid off.

The children provided the entertainment.  They were all delighted when I pulled out a costume bin.  There was a lion, buzz light year, and Nacho.  But the one that we are still talking about was my niece dressed in a sparkly dress as a princess, she told my son that he had to be the prince.  They danced around and then she dramatically leaned in for the kiss.  He in turn leaned in and....licked her face.  Silly kid!
THE KISS!
