I love herbs but they always seem to go bad before I can use them. The biggest culprit is that I just forget they are in the fridge, but I was also storing them wrong too. So parsley and cilantro are to be treated like fresh cut flowers. You bring them home and find a jar to put their stems in, add water. They keep wonderfully on the counter this way, which motivates me to use them while I'm cooking. Over night it is helpful to put them in the fridge. Remember to change their water just like you would a brand new bouquet of flowers.
