On Saturday a group of permaculture students came out the farm and helped us out. It was fun getting to know each of them and their desire to understand what permaculture is. It was awesome having extra people help around the farm. The group I worked with weeded three rows, riding them of the ever intrusive bermuda grass. Pete along with another group leveled off another row and started a new row. Steve, the permaculture instructor, headed up a group in the orchard, cleaning up suckers, thinning fruit, and spraying essential micro organisms. We also enjoyed flute music throughout the day.
