Millions of Peaches!
Our peach season started out very windy, which caused one of our huge branches full of peaches to snap. We harvested 3 one-gallon sized buckets full just from that mishap. So our season started out with small, hard peaches that covered our entire dinning room table, which seats 18, so it's not a small table or a small amount. The peaches have now tripled in size and we are harvesting them by the bucket load, the one problem we've had has been moths, so about a tenth of our peaches have been lost to these hungry, winged friends of ours. In staying with our desire to be free of sprays we count our losses and add the lack of pesticide as a point towards our good health. Needless to say we have been enjoying, delicious, ripe, large, white peaches! My favorite is flaked cereal, peaches, and milk, yummy! Can't wait to make jam, pie, and cobbler too.
