First Day of School

When asked about his first day of school, he said that he loved making his own lunch and carrying it in his lunchbox. 

Since the drive home takes awhile, he eventually told me funny stories about the other kids and their interactions.  He even mentioned going outside to play on the playground.

I also teach at the school, so when we got there he hung out in my classroom and helped me get things ready.  I really had my doubts about him successfully transitioning in to a classroom that didn't involve me directly.  About mid-way through the day we passed each other in the hall, and he was all to focused to even notice me.  SUCCESS!
