In Memory of Growing Up in Germany

My son found these beautiful German shorts in a storage closet here on the farm.  He started asking all kinds of questions about the mysterious clothing.  It was fun to answer where they were from and what they were used for.  I told him they were German and all of the German boys that go on adventures in the woods wear them.  He was sold, so of course he put them on.  I did tell him they belong to his Uncle Hans, so if he wanted to keep them he'd probably have to ask him.  Yeah for leather shorts!
